By supplementing schools’ existing technical programming and providing students a pathway to careers, partners make TEC’s goal a reality.

For schools, partners are expected to help build coursework, train teachers and provide workplace learning. Partners also work with TEC schools on a budget, which include cost-sharing measures and equipment donations.

For students, partners help guide enrollees toward appropriate careers and increase employment accessibility for underrepresented groups, including minorities and women.

Partners interested in providing TEC graduates with careers are encouraged to present about their company at the school, invite students to their facilities to learn more about their company and, ultimately, recruit students to be part of their company.

Partnership opportunities are fluid based on the gaps identified in TEC’s Community Needs Assessment. That tool ensures partners and schools are making data-based decisions that are in the best interests of TEC’s students.
